I am a product designer with a background in engineering and industrial design. With a recent master’s degree in industrial design, I’m currently applying my skills as a user experience designer.
My work focuses on developing interfaces for products. I delve into understanding user behaviours to create intuitive and effective designs. My projects range from crafting interfaces for surgical products to creating visualizations for AR-guided experiences. I’m passionate about leveraging design to enhance user experiences, particularly in complex work environments.
I believe that design should be relatable, relevant, and driven by research. My goal is to create interfaces that seamlessly integrate into users’ lives, enhancing their interactions with technology and the world around them.
Background
I am a Product Designer and Illustrator from Kolkata, India.
Over the last 10+ years, I have worked to hone my skills as a product designer, accumulating varying experiences from UX Research, Product Development and empathy in User Experience Design.
Work Experience
As a Product Designer I led embedded software design initiatives across diverse domains, including UX for medical surgical devices and satellite remote-sensing systems, in collaboration with development teams. As a Scrum Product Owner, served as a key link between stakeholders and engineering teams in agile projects, translating product vision into user-centered solutions that maximized end-user value.

I hold a Master’s degree in Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. My academic training spans a comprehensive range of disciplines—from human factors and behavioral insights to system-level design—equipping me with a strong foundation for creating thoughtful, user-centered experiences.

As a Design Consultant, I worked on research and design development for healthcare products, applying user-centered design to improve safety, usability, and infection prevention. Conducted in-depth research on hospital environments and workflows to ensure effective integration and adoption of solutions aligned with global healthcare standards.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, gaining hands-on exposure to manufacturing systems, process design and optimization methodologies. This analytical background strengthens my approach to user experience design, particularly when working with highly technical workflows, complex operational systems, and scale-driven constraints.
