User Interface Design - Down To Earth

Background:

India is home to about 120 million smallholder farmers and almost half of the population in India depends on agriculture for their livelihood. The COVID-19 related shutdown has caused a large-scale disruption of markets, bazars and mandis. The farmers are left with agricultural produces – fruits, vegetables etc. whereas consumers are not able to buy. The closure of physical markets have left both the seller and buyer at lurch.

Aim:

To design a digital solution which can connect the farmer to consumer directly.

Design Brief:
To help the farmer to sell their produce independent of physical markets. It also aims to provide better price to the farmers. For the consumer, it promotes getting locally grown vegetables, fresh from the farm.
